How do we collect personal data?

Direct Collection. We obtain personal data directly in a number of ways. This includes gathering data from individuals who:

  • complete our online or off-line forms

Business clients. Our business clients may contact us to perform professional services, which can involve sharing of personal data they control as part of that engagement. For example, we get a shipper or consignee contact data as part of a shipping order and we often need to use personal data to provide global mobility services. Our services may also include processing personal data under our clients’ control on our hosted software applications, which may be governed by different privacy terms and policies.

What types of personal data do we collect about you?

We may obtain the following categories of personal data about individuals through direct interactions with us, or from information provided through client engagements, applicants, suppliers and other situations including those described in this Privacy Statement.

Here is a list of personal data we commonly collect to conduct our business activities:

  2. Shipment information (e.g. contact information of shipper, consignee and/or notify party; signature on delivery order; description of goods, number of pieces, weight, and value of shipment).
  3. Financial information (e.g. duties and taxes, payroll, bank accounts details).
  4. CCTV at our sites may collect images of visitors. Our policy is to automatically overwrite CCTV footage within 15 days.
  5. Employment information (e.g. employment history, employee number, assessments, salary, and benefits).
  6. Some personal data we collect automatically when you use our website or services. This is known as user-generated content and may include some or all of the following types of information:

If you are a customer, service provider, agent, or contractor:
